The items that make up a budget
Pre-production
Concept, writing, scouting, scheduling, possible casting, location coordination and technical preparation. This stage avoids paying for shooting hours spent making decisions that should have been made before.
Shoot
Crew, cameras, lenses, lighting, sound, grip, sets, travel, how long locations are occupied, and any specific constraints.
Post-production

Versions and formats
A 16:9 master is not always enough. Short, vertical, square, multilingual or platform-specific versions must be included in the scope.
