Launching a corporate video podcast: format, studio, distribution
A video podcast is a filmed conversation, published as a long episode and cut into short clips. For a company, it is a way to let its experts, clients or leaders speak without a word-for-word script.
What keeps a podcast going is not the first episode but the tenth. The decisions that matter are the ones that make the series sustainable: a simple format, a stable location, batch recording.
Decide the format before the set
A promise in one sentence
Who speaks, to whom, about what. "Our engineers explain a trade in twenty minutes" is a format; "talking about our sector" is not.
A host and guests
The host carries the podcast. They can be internal or external, but they must be the same from one episode to the next: they are who the audience comes back for.
A length that follows the content
Twenty to forty minutes is enough for most corporate topics. Longer is not more serious; shorter forces you to cut what matters.
Language, decided once
Darija, Arabic, French, English or a mix: the choice changes the possible guests and the audience reached. It holds for the whole season, with subtitles if needed.
Recording: what makes the difference on screen
Sound first
A podcast with average image still gets watched; a podcast with bad sound gets switched off. One mic per person, a treated room, a level monitored during recording.
Several cameras
A wide shot and one shot per speaker let you edit the conversation as it happened, without cutting answers. It is also what gives clean vertical clips.
Stable lighting
Daylight changes over an hour of recording; studio light does not. That is what keeps episodes consistent with one another.
A recognisable set
The same set from one episode to the next is part of the show's identity. At EL 25 Studio Production's studio in Aïn Sebaâ, the 6.5 x 5 m stage can take a modular lounge set for conversation formats.
Studio, offices or an outside location?
In your offices
Possible if a room is quiet, large enough and available for the setup. Background noise — air conditioning, corridor, street — is the first thing to check.
In a studio
Sound, light and set are controlled, and the setup is faster. For a series, that is often what lets you record several episodes in the same day.
Rental or full production
EL 25 Studio Production's studio can be rented by appointment for teams that already have their crew. The studio can also handle the whole recording: multi-camera image, sound, lighting, editing and clips.
Distribution: one episode, ten pieces of content
The long episode
On YouTube and audio platforms. It is the full version, the one that establishes the show.
The vertical clips
Thirty to ninety seconds, subtitled, for Instagram, TikTok and LinkedIn. They are what makes people discover the podcast: they are spotted during recording, not after.
A sustainable rhythm
Recording several episodes in one day and publishing them at a regular interval beats one episode a month recorded each time under pressure.
Frequently asked questions
How do you launch a corporate video podcast?
Define the format in one sentence (who speaks, to whom, about what), choose a stable host, set a length and a language, then record several episodes at once in a controlled location — studio or quiet room — with one mic per person and several cameras. Each episode is published as a long version and cut into subtitled vertical clips.
Where can you record a video podcast in Casablanca?
In offices if a room is quiet and available, or in a studio where sound, light and set are controlled. EL 25 Studio Production's studio in Aïn Sebaâ (Casablanca) can be rented by appointment for video podcasts, or handle the full recording.
How many cameras do you need for a video podcast?
At least a wide shot and one shot per speaker. That lets you edit the conversation without cutting answers and produce clean vertical clips for social media.
Can you record several episodes on the same day?
Yes, and that is often what makes a series sustainable: the setup is done once, the episodes stay consistent, and publishing can then follow a regular rhythm.
How long should a corporate podcast episode be?
Twenty to forty minutes suits most topics. The length follows the content; the thirty-to-ninety-second clips are what make people discover the show on social media.
